Job Summary
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the outbound activities of the plant warehouse. This role includes managing, leading, and training a team of operators. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring productivity, managing inventory storage, handling freight, and ensuring warehouse and dock safety. The position reports directly to the PE Outbound Logistics Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Possess basic knowledge of plant and warehouse operations
• Provide leadership and guidance to the outbound operator team
• Assist operator team as needed
• Ensure adherence to safe work practices
• Maintain compliance with 5S principles
• Operate all warehouse equipment (Forklift, Tugger, Pallet Jack, etc.)
• Complete reporting and data entry tasks
• Plan and communicate outbound shipments
• Oversee and direct deliveries in and out of the facility
• Conduct equipment checks and audits
• Perform cycle counts of outbound inventory
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality defects
• Follow and enforce PE Outbound procedures and processes
• Comply with company policies as outlined in the company handbook
• Complete required training in safety, quality, and leadership (provided upon hire)

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of one year operating warehouse equipment
• Minimum of three years in a warehouse leadership role
